E-W01: The New Driving

With today’s high fuel costs, it’s great if you can save on them! How? By following the refresher course “W01 - The New Driving” (Het Nieuwe Rijden) at DON Opleidingen. During this course, professional drivers, guided by one of our experienced instructors, learn how to reduce fuel consumption while driving (up to 15%!). Thanks to this course you not only save on fuel costs, but also reduce damage and wear over time. Nothing but benefits!

Course content

During the course, you will gain all the necessary knowledge on the following topics:

• Principles of specific fuel consumption
• Fuel-efficient driving style
• Technical vehicle data
• External influences
• Anticipatory driving behavior

Good to know

Please note: the course is most effective if you have sufficient recent experience driving a truck. We therefore recommend starting this course only if you have at least four years of driving experience. Unsure if this applies to you? Feel free to contact us for more information.

The course is provided at your own location using your own truck, provided it is equipped with a fuel consumption monitor. If this is not the case, it is also possible to follow the course with a DON Opleidingen truck at one of our locations.

Do you hold a category D driving license? This course can also be taken with your own bus, provided it has a fuel consumption monitor. If not, you can use a DON Opleidingen bus at one of our locations.

Code 95 refresher training

The training consists of 3 hours of practical instruction and 4 hours of e-learning, and counts as 7 hours of practical refresher training for Code 95.

Exam

After successfully completing the course, you will receive a certificate of participation. You will also receive a clear overview of your achieved results.
