U05: VCA Basis - Engels

VCA stands for ‘Safety Checklist for Contractors’.

The B-VCA certificate is increasingly becoming a mandatory requirement. The reason for this is that it promotes safer working practices, resulting in fewer workplace accidents. In addition, drivers are often required to present a B-VCA certificate when delivering to VCA-certified companies. At DON Opleidingen, you can obtain this certificate quickly and safely, ensuring you’re well-prepared to get started. This course is also available for Polish and English-speaking candidates.

Who is this course for?

This course is intended for operational employees working for clients who require the B-VCA certificate. Examples include workers in (greenhouse) construction, installation technology, landscaping companies, crane operators, tipper truck drivers, and tanker drivers.

Course Book

At the moment, the regular Basic VCA books are not available. Therefore, candidates will receive the 'VOL VCA' book instead. This book contains even more information and everything you need to know.

Course Content

During the course, you will gain all the essential knowledge about:

• Risk awareness
• Hazardous substances
• Laws and regulations
• Causes of accidents
• Personal protective equipment

Duration & Code 95 Refresher Hours

The course lasts 1 day (8 hours of lessons + 1-hour exam), including the exam, and counts as 7 hours toward Code 95 refresher training.

The Exam

An exam will be held at the end of the course. Upon passing, you will receive the VCA certificate, which is valid for ten years.
