E-W02: Driving optimization

As a professional driver, you develop your own driving style over the course of your career. But every driving style can be improved in certain areas — and that’s exactly what you’ll do at DON Opleidingen!
During this one-day course, one of our experienced instructors will analyze your driving behavior as a professional driver. This can be done using your own vehicle or one provided by DON Opleidingen.

You’ll drive a familiar route in your usual manner. After the ride, the instructor will evaluate the route and explain where driving optimization can be applied. The focus will be on aspects such as:

• Fuel efficiency

• Defensive driving

• Damage prevention

After the evaluation, you’ll drive the same route again — this time using the instructor’s tips and advice!

No problem! This course can also be delivered in-company.

Code 95 Refresher Training
The course consists of 3 hours of practical training and 4 hours of e-learning, and counts as 7 practical hours towards Code 95 refresher training.

Good to know
This course is suitable for drivers with a category C or D license and can be followed using your own truck or bus — provided it is equipped with a fuel consumption monitor. If this is not the case, the training can also be completed using a DON Opleidingen vehicle at one of our locations.
