Thanks to its maneuverability and large load capacity, the forklift has become indispensable as an internal means of transport. To ensure work is carried out safely and efficiently, forklift operators must hold a valid forklift certificate. Current occupational health and safety legislation also requires employers to (demonstrably) instruct their employees in situations involving potential risks — including the use of forklifts. By completing this forklift course, you comply with this legal requirement.

Course Content

During the course, you will be taught all the essential knowledge regarding the following topics:

Theory

• Basic knowledge of materials
• Technical principles
• Safety
• Load and loading practices

Practical training

• Inspections and checks
• Driving and steering
• Safety

Duration and Certification

The course lasts 2 days (14 lesson hours). No official exam is required, but after successfully completing both the theory and practical parts, you will receive a DON certificate. This certificate is valid for 5 years and must then be renewed — which you can also do with us! The minimum age to receive the certificate is 16 years.
