Bedrijfshulpverlener (BHV) - ENGELS

Are there any English-speaking employees at the company? At DON Opleidingen, we also offer the BHV course in English.

BHV stands for company emergency response. Every company is required to train one or more company emergency responders with a BHV course. BHV is mandatory because there must always be an employee present who knows how to act in case of an emergency. This saves lives first and foremost, and prevents damage within the company. During the course, you will be provided with all the necessary knowledge on the following points:

• Limiting and combating fires and preventing and limiting accidents. 
• Providing first aid in case of accidents. 
• Alerting and evacuating employees (and other persons in the company or establishment) in case of emergencies. 
• Warning and collaborating with emergency services.

Duration and examination

The course lasts 2 days (14 hours) and is concluded with an exam, immediately following the last part of the last day. Upon passing, you will receive a certificate and safety pass. The certificate is valid for one year.
